Oh, I got more complaints. I dont know about anyone else, but I get hasseld HARD by the customs/police pukes when I am going out of the airport. I have full sleeve tattoos on both arms, but I stay coverd when I exit the airport. Im also 25 years old. EVERY TIME I try to leave the Airport, I get picked out of the line and told to give them my passport. I have to go in some room off to the side and get a full search. I mean I have to take off my schoes, shirt, pants, EVERYTHING except my boxers. Then, when They see my tattoos, they start. They look in EVERYTHING I have. I mean EVERYTHING! Every pair of pants in my bag, every pocket of everything. Man, its very FUCKING uncomfortable standing in some room with 2 arab guys (one in a police outfit, and the other in the traditional white dress) in my boxers. What the Fuck?!?!?!??! Finally after about 1-1.5 hours of this shit they give me my passport and let me go... Cigarette is soo good after a Trans-Atlantic flight and a full search by Dubai Customs. Bastards...

Nothing bad really, I just have alot and I guess I look like a "suspect"... Cause as soon as I take off my shirt, they go into overdrive and really start searching everything.

Dubai was part of my patch (EMEA) when I was based in Paris and it certainly was the best place around the territory aside from Seth Efrika. You should try Lagos, Cairo, Nairobi etc . . .

To each their own. I just really hate paying X10 the normal value for anything, then add to that the customs crap. I just really dont enjoy it... Nothing really special about the place what so ever...

A friend going in through Heathrow the other week was stopped and questioned by some type of anti terror cops. First time in years he’d been stopped entering the UK.

They wanted to know why he’d been in the Middle East and why he was arriving in the UK. They said he fitted a profile, youngish, fit etc they were looking for.

Dubai may be doing the same, no need to get your knickers in a twist. Personally I don’t mind transiting through Dubai.

He was telling us about it a couple of days ago when he got back from holidays. He couldn’t believe it. He’s not the type to exaggerate. I’ve known him for nearly 20 years working in the Middle East.

White born and bred Brit male traveling alone, clean cut, fit, early 40’s into boxing. He flies home for holidays 3 or 4 times a year as he’s done for as long as I’ve known him. He’s never had customs problems. And a christian.

They pulled him aside, held him for a while, quizzed him, went through all his clothes and baggage, told him he was pulled as he fitted the profile they were looking for and then let him go.

I got "profiled" a few years ago by immigration at LAX. The Bushies were trying to bust sex tourists. Two cops pulled me into a back room and started asking me a bunch of shit. . "did you sleep with any prostitutes while you were in Thailand?" Why heavens no.... what makes you ask?

Took them almost three hours to look at my laptop and all my bootleg movies. The assholes wouldn't believe I'm married and live on a goddamn farm!

I bet the customs agents are gay.
