Deodorant after every shower. Body spray or perfume added if I'm going anywhere outside my front gate. Brands? Deodorant, don't care - must be roll-on, unperfumed & non whitening. Perfume - depends if day or night.

Maybe, but always to expensive when it could be called repulsive rather than deodorant. Being cheaper than mosquitoes repellent is perhaps a reason why people buy this kind of cosmetic.

Nice anti persperant. Not deoderant. Three clicks of the speed stick (per pit) every morning. Just read the others. Aqua de Gio- Armani cologne. 4 sprays. If I'm feeling sporty first thing in the morning.

After every shower except before I go to bed.

I use that Gillette stick thingy. Axe is shite at preventing BO, it just masks it.

Not showering and just spraying yourself with Linx Java is called a "Paki shower"

you sound a bit sauced Milky could that be the reasoning behind such a thread??
I use every morning only, Gillette clear gel unless i can't get it here like so many things they are constantly running out of stock of. on those occasions I use Nivea pour les hommes.
don't generally have problem with heavy BO though in spite of sweating, from hot climate originally, so no real climate change for me..

I used to wear a nice aftershave and a roll-on stick thingy, under the arms. Unfortunately, it makes the mrs very ill, literally. Now I stick to that magic rock, after every shower, and a non perfumed stick if I'm going anywhere public. The worst thing used to be my feet, but flip-flops, and no socks, soon changed all that.

On the contrary willy, Old Spice is still a classic {sorta}, not to potent without all that fufu girly smell. Little dab will do ya all day. I can't find any real decent cologne or aftershave here in Surin {for me personally}, so I get buy until shopping runs to Khorat or Buriram. Living in the bush really does have it's advantages.

Sorry, but everybody smells. You just can't smell your own.
MM, I have used rock salt stones (som sam?) for years. It does not zap the sweat but it zaps any odour. You can buy it in almost any general shop; about Bt15 a kilo when I was last there (mostly used to clean murky standing water -- just swish it around in the tank). The pieces are very jagged raw, but you can rinse them to help smooth and then they get smoother after some use. Last for years. I gave some to a Korean friend who had smelly feet. He was overjoyed -- eradicated the smell immediately after his shower and all day in shoes. Just apply it wet to underarms or wherever you get sweat smell. This is a big chunk, likely fashioned by Western voodooers. That size would last a lifetime.

    That is the best stuff
Seems to work 100% for everybody and no allergy problems
    Thanks, Jet.

This is the most helpful info I've gotten so far. When my current batch runs out that I gought in LOS, I'll have to find this. Either where I'm at now, or on my next visit to the US.

^ No prob. Available at most Thai general stores. I got my first one in 1988 at Saks Fifth Ave in NY (ripoff in comparison to Thai prices -- something like $15 when a kilo costs about Bt15 in LOS). Came in a pretty box and was softball sized. Used it for years, left it in storage when I went to Thailand, where I then got the original stuff, came back, rinsed it off and still use it. I do caution that if you drop it and it shatters, the pieces are like glass shards. You can still use the big chunks, just rinse and smooth edges carefully on skin. I never got the instructions for making the balls.

Three years later and we are all still sweating....

Heatwave in Switzerland - 36 degrees yesterday. Patsy had to wipe her brow a few times. And that was just walking to the wine shop.... to actually buy some of that award winning (well here anyway) stuff that I don't actually drink. But is nice to rub on one's brow when all else feels warm...

Yup, still using deoderant and body sprays etc. I even shaved my legs the other day....

Showering 3 times a day is overkill. Most people are afraid of being told they stink so they exaggerate how often they shower or use deodorant.

I shower 6 times a day and put on deodorant every 2 hours.

I find I never need to use deodorant in Thailand, except when travelling

as said above, if you shower a couple of times a day, the bacteria that make the stink do not get a chance to multiply

I shower twice a day, once in the morning at 6.00am before work and use under arm deodorant in the mornings with a squirt of canned deodorant at regular intervals during the day followed by a shower when I get home at 7.00pm.

The same, except I dont use deodorant, I also only use ambient water temperature unless we go through a cold spell like this year. Hell the wife has been commenting how nice I smell in the morning. She thought I was using cologne. Nope only a good soap for both the head and body for over 30 years now.

I still use sansom deodorant stone. No chemicals and it works by killing the bacteria that causes ones armpits to stink.Cheap too.
