Thread: What's the most posts by any poster on any forum you use?

In celebration of the effort and hard work it has taken me to go through the 25,000 barrier, i thought I'd start yet another well thought out and wholly intriguing thread.


i use a forum called gwladrugby.com

the top poster on there philbb has 86,438 posts.

i think bobcock uses the same forum and can confirm.


seriously impressive dedication to the forum badge.

I believe aging one and kenkannif are nearing the 50k mark on ajarn too.

I feel i need to work a lot harder.

does anyone use a forum with any more than an 86k poster on it?

i am genuinely interested.

Who really pays any attention to how many posts any user has,
I don't and I have no idea how many you, me or anyone else has, I never look.

i use loads of forums including American idol and i've never seen anyone near the 86k plus chap i posted about.

I remember recieving a link to a Christianity forum in USA where some members were discussing some pretty wacked out topic. Some of those guys had over 250,000 posts.
Give Jandajoy another couple of months and he'll be somewhere near that

we are comparing apples and oranges a bit but the impressive thing about philblueblack is that he posts like frisco frankie. lots of words and stuff...not like king willy who posts in punctuation points with the odd unfinished sentence thrown in when he has a lucid moment.

philbb has 86,438 posts.

How many per day though?

I remember AO telling someone (possibly Smeg) that they have no life, they responded that he had an average of 40 posts (or something like it) per day over the past 3 years.

Which is a pretty high average... presuming that some days/weeks he isn't actually near a computer.

I keep a small card, pencil and set of scales in the toilet, each time I take a dump, the card gets marked and the weight recorded...it can tell you a lot about yourself!

I rather suspect that he has just dribbled all over the keyboard each day. Apparently, its the same as welsh language.
