    Do the job or not

This is quite a good job as it is damn easy, the problem starts that there are 2 partners, both partners consider themselves experts on Thailand and the cost of products, they are both wrong and dumb, got to admit i aint sure if one is trying to stitch up the other, quotes of 25k baht for an item that I can get for 11 k baht have gone ignored as I am just a dumb farang and both these guys have been here for 4 years or more already, really not sure if one is trying to rip off the other, and i really don't want to be associatted with that sort of shite

Didn't explain the first post so well, ok the guy with the big mouth is an expert on Thailand and knows everything, well, thats what he says, his partner believes him to be truthfull the guy with the big mouth actually knows nothing and is just an embarrassment, he is willing to spout off prices that nobody in their right mind would believe, sadly some people believe him.

The job starts this week blow them out or go for it?

Get an up front payment (25% job deposit) and make sure you are at least 20% ahead regarding progress payments at any given time.

Sounds like a fire is burning down the track and you certainly don't want to get burnt.

You supply the labour and let them sort out the materials and others. Don't get involved in their shit fight.

A good example was his price on stainless tables, he quoted 25k baht each, I said they was dumb, went to a place I use and it was 11,500baht each, thats a bit of a difference

Your their building contractor not their accountant or councilor.

Don't get involved, do the job and get your cut.

Take a 50k deposit for your work and then disappear for three months.

Thats what builders do and as farangs they will understand

Well he is relying on you then!

It is always difficult but if you don't do it someone else will.

Better you very discretely take care of his interests as best as you can mate.

Half upfront. If it looks likes it's caving in, you can cut and run. Also difficult to do biz with friends; you rarely stay friends afterwards.

    Go with your gut feeling

You already know that you don't want to touch this.
When you see the train wreck up ahead, always take the
first left. Sometimes when you get too far down the road
    you can't back up.
Makes it easier to live with yourself.
    Just a thought.

First opportunity always turn left, never right in face of oncoming traffic, just don't always know what is coming in the opposite direction at speed. How many times in ones life can you remember saying to yourself, ' I just knew it.....'

Never second left turn, your life experience tells you that you can already smell that it is off, too much time to think about it and you are in the spiders web.

Never a u-turn you already know what's behind you. Had the experience and always moving forward.

The wiser we get the quicker me make the first left turn. Times too short.

    Just a second thought.

Yes, there are a lot of dumb Farangs in LOS.

And not only are the two above dumb, but they are likely fraudsters.

Offer them the fekking tables for 24K Baht, will make them happy.

Make them an offer that you can cut their budget prices if you get a percentage of the savings. Make the offer to both of them at the same time.

    Money talks loud and clear.

So you have to turn right after the first turn left. Remind me never to let you navigate..
