I feel very "cut off'

I can't find my mobile phone charger and my house phone is giving me a message from true saying that I've not paid my bill. This seems impossible to me because my t.v and internet are still working.

I've emailed my wife to try to sort the true problem out but she's not replied. And the person I want to contact does't know anyone on Teak Door and is not at work so I can't email him.

I can't exactly email the wife and tell her to call my mate and tell him to come round mine early before she gets home so that we can drink some whiskey and play playstaion.

I've already done my job for the day, which was bath the dogs and dinner for tonight was cooked yesterday. See linky.

What to do?

ignore the bill and stay in alone.

i haven't charged my telephone since june.


but if you actually like speaking to and seeing people you could always get another telephone charger or chuck your sim card into your wife's telephone.

go to the nearest bar and ask a barmaid to borrow her charger which will already be plugged in behind the bar...

I can't she's at work and MBK is way too far. She'll know where the charger is when she gets home.

i had a few problems this month.

my internet connection was shut for 2 days for 'repairs'. i kicked up a bit of a hoohaa and told them in the tot office that i wasn't paying this month and they said 'ok, no problem.'...they even did me a little receipt to say i didn't have to pay.

They wouldn't let my missus pay the bill, or close my account.

They sent two bills in two years. Told me it wasn't there problem that I wasn't getting the bills and I should remember to pay on time.

So if you're not billed it's free?

I was in Korea. Left the internet on for her to use. I normally just went in and payed it every three months when they cut off the telephone or if I remembered when passsing.

They flat out refused to let my wife pay it. Told her that I had to come back and pay the bill before it could be closed. Wife told her that was stupid and I was out of the country and wanted to pay the bill. They said no.

Because we don't ever get bills through the post. It's not like I can just wander down to the 7-11 to pay them. It meant taking a trip to the TT7T shop.

Women was a cnut.

The wife was able to pay my TOT bill and close that no problem. Just not TT&T.

I'll pay it when I next get back.
