I used to take my girlfriend to S&P quite a lot, she used to buy the cakes because she liked them, never saw anything there that I would eat though.

They're definatly not fake boobs. The one on the right is smaller than the one on the left and looks really weird!

Last week I was going to a mates birthday party and we forgot to buy a cake and were forced to get an S&P jobbie last minute.. Me and my other mate had no intention of eating it so we went for the cheap 300 baht one with a kiddies safari theme for comedy value and we thought maybe his kid would eat it.

When we turned up at the party and showed the cake, everyone laughed because someone else had bought the same cake. So after the candle blowing out there was way too much cake for one kid and we were all presented with a slice despite our efforts to do the "ohh I'm full" gesture (hand rubbing belly) and point at our beers saying "It won't go with beer"

It was the most discusting shit I've ever eaten and from now on I won't even put little kids who are too young to know better through that torture.

Exactly how I have always felt. You look in the window and just feel alienated. Never been invited to eat in one by a Thai either.

That says a lot about Thai people if they consider it a hi so dining experience.

It is impossible to leave MK feeling full, it's really just a place for Thai people to meet and talk about pop songs and skin whitening cream and who they fancy while they boil bits of cabbage and liver.

^^ He's got beer, and if he runs out there's a 7-Eleven nearby. I think I need to visit Timbas again to give my stomach back its confidence.

Nonsense. The MK roasted duck and the new MK red roasted pork are actually very nice. Just let the Thais boil away while you eat the nice stuff...

I'll take that as 'drunk' for the answer to my question then...

^^ Why does it make matters worse?

I made my own drink tonight, and what you do is you get a glass and grate 3 cloves of fresh garlic into it with a cheese grater, followed by as much ginger as you want and the juice of a lime - then you add water, stir it up and neck it (can't do it in one go), anyway - it's very good for you.
"I'm an outsider by choice, but not truly. It's the unpleasantness of the system that keeps me out. I'd rather be in, in a good system. That's where my discontent comes from: being forced to choose to stay outside.
My advice: Just keep movin' straight ahead. Every now and then you find yourself in a different place."

Because you can't blame spouting nonsense on the booze.
