Me too, Mad_Dog.

My grandpappy really went downhill in one of the those. His friends were all dead (he outlived 'em), he couldn't drive, and he was depending on company from relatives, most of which lived far away.

He'd say occasionally: "I'm just waiting to die."

He had a good run to 91, though.
