I've never watched any of her shows.

Lesbians are only cool when they're 24, scantily clad, and steaming hot.

Butch dykes who try way too hard to be cool are simply irritating.

Portia De Rossi is still with Ellen. In fact they're planning their wedding. Anne Heche went back to men. She also claims to have been abducted by aliens and is a total fruit-loop, but that's by-the-by.

I like Ellen. I think she's OK. And I don't know how anyone can say she's more up herself than Oprah. I guess by the nature of their jobs that talk show hosts must be self-obsessed, but Oprah's on another planet.

As for the gay agenda - again, I guess you put out the agenda closest to your heart. Oprah plays the race card, Ellen does the gay thing. So what? There's always the 'off' button.

^I agree that Oprah is far more annoying than Ellen. Oprah is soooooo full of herself and uses her show as a soapbox to celebrate....herself. A few years ago she was at Hermes in Paris and was escorted out because they were closing. Oprah threw a fit and the authorities had to come and escort her out. She spent an entire show explaining (aka lying) about what happened. It really annoys me how influential she is with middle class housewives. If you look at the audience in the show, most of them are women and are very well dressed. I remember John Stewart was on the show a few years ago and he commented on it: "This is the most employable audience I've ever seen!"

Seriously, you think that? Why? As opposed to male gay celebs?

Not being funny, but I never noticed any difference re publicity seeking etc. IMO most celebs are attention whores, straight or gay.
