My son had one of those flight simulator games where you could choose your plane and your landing place - if you got it wrong the crash scenes were spectacular!

The little bastard got great delight in trying to land a 747 on an aircraft carrier !

Love it Benbaa. I did buy a top of the range, most difficult one I could find, closest to reality, flight simulator for my PC. So far I have managed to crash on take off twice.

Bring back Gunship 2000!

Anything to do with Classical Rome - I did a History project on Roman Britain when I was 14 years old and I've been hooked on all things Classical Rome ever since.

I sometimes dream about not being superior to everyone and everything - and I have always wondered what common people feel like.

Assuming they feel anything at all, that is. I mean, they screm when you hurt them, but do they actually feel anything.....?

this gay bloke at my work who was a real pain in the ass (no pun intended) used to always carry on about his flight simulator, in fact he would invite people around to his house to play the flight simulator with him, he said it was great it flies in real time, so you take off, turn on autopolite and go to sleep eat pizza go out etc...
the plane would slowly fly accross the skies, you could look at the computer window just like you were in a real plane, and watch the things below
then wake up or get back to computer after 8 or 10 hours or whatever the flight time was and land the plane....

how is that fun? I fckn hate flying ....

Yeah, the hard games are too hard and the easy ones are too easy. I've got one called Falcon 4 and the guidebook about how to play it is nearly 800 pages long.
