If you will wait until the wait hourglass is removed before you punch the back button then it will give time for your post to load and it will be on the boards.
Some days it takes longer than others if you are here with our fine high speed internet.

Welcome to the forums bbkperson. You will find most members here very helpful and approachable, with lots of friendly banter. I'm sure some will turn up soon.
New Posts is new to you, not recent posts. If you click on Quick Links dropdown there is an option for Todays Posts which may be more like what you expect. You can also select My Topics (topics started by you) or My Replies. There is a good seach facility at the top of the page and a Thread Tools dropdown at the top of the thread which includes the option to Subscribe to the thread. You can then view subscribed threads from the User CP dropdown. You can also manually navigate through the forums and subforums from the Forum Home link or from the breadcrumbs at the top of the page.
I suggest you look through the topics in the How to use Stuff on the Board subforum of Newbies Lounge HERE there are lots of hidden features that can save time.
