First off let me just say that I am not going to debate the union thing here that is not what I took exception to. Never been party to a union and never had a need to. That is due directly to the work that the unions have done in the past and continue to do, without their threat of organization and infiltration the corporate sector would slip back to the middle ages in short order..

Do you think that this same principle doesn't apply to the company??? That it's only a 1 way street?? Do they not USE their employees until they no longer need them and then discard you on a whim? Especially if they could do it before you come up to your pension years...

If your answer is "no" then you can attribute that result to a union in some sense... If it is "yes" than you aren't being sensible or pragmatic in your point of view..
