me nearest city C Rai 34 Easter Saturday c1630

Hottest time here in N Chiang Rai is usually not noon but mid afternoon.Hottest months here usually April and May .

I built my entire home with 22cm thick walls from from Superblock with big eaves, lightboxes, passive cooling intended.Double roof, with vents, insulation and no South facing windows.

Yesterday outiside around 34 max inside 28
Having lived in Andalucia at 48 max the other 'comfort' factor is of course the relative humidity and activity level.Dry 40 in Doha easier than 30 in steamy KL etc
These days my max exertion is a trip to the espresso machine daytime and the corkscrew after dark.

I do minimal yard work and bike lube walk before 10am
Despite a few showers much less rain than the last 20 years I have lived in this part of Thailand.

Of course we don't need exact location but province or nearest metropolis be interesting esp for our overseas members in luscious Lusaka,WA,SA,NSW and Gold Coast.
Russia went from being 2nd strongest army in the world to being the 2nd strongest in Ukraine

perhaps in Uk my metal screens may be called fixed louvers? Common on many commercial bdgs.

They are like a steel venetian blind coated in white to reflect as much heat and keep it from the walls .I''ll try send pix later, v good 63k baht retro fit

Golden triangle Easter Sunday peak again mid 30s at 4pm

Last night first night with a fan on to help sleep, be like this for a couple of months most of which I will be sailing or peering from the Cambrian hills to spot the snags on Chitty's BBQ!

It's 31 already so will be similar today

AQI level of most hazardous PM2.5 17 µg/m³ since rains

Nice clear sky poss night time shower be good for land , animals

Another perfect day in paradise I dont mind 30 if relaxing and low humidity over that fan on first notch.
Once the humidity or temps hit body temp is when our 2 aircons a bonus but I have not used yet this year.

I learned in seriously hot places like Oz Spain iran best think not talk about , keep busy with other things rehydrate and recall however hot it's better than the cold wet Atlantic climates that comprised the first half of my life. Cold dry like Moravia and Finland is not so bad if you have right tyre chains and layers of quality clothing, it's the damp I loathe.

I don't know the temp yesterday but today at 1600H, it's 38 C outside. I'm near Tagaytay City, Cavite, PH. At 2100H, it's projected to be 28 C, which is bearable.

As a tropical person, I can withstand heat more than cold. (I disliked the 2 winters that I experienced.)
