Disgusting violence and hatred by the protesters going on in England/Ireland at the moment.
The actions of the one boy who killed the three young girls was absolutely awful, but the actions of one person does not make everyone the same. The boy was under 17 and I don't believe he wanted his identity known. The people that listened to right wing social media rhetoric and basically started the violence across the nation need to be stopped, charged and jailed for their actions. It seems sometimes one thing can lead to another now more people are joining in on the anti-immigration, Islomaphobia, and downright hatred violence.

This will go on until it is stopped and governments and police need to take quick action. You see some of this go on in Canada, but it is usually one off violence like targeting buildings run by Muslims or Israelites. Violence due to racism are on the rise in Canada as well.

Agree with this article by by Amnesty International. Racism and hate is alive and well that is for sure.

The 17 year old boy's identity was not given at first because he was under 18 at the time but a judge has now said his identity can be revealed. I doubt the boy had any choice in either decision, MM.

Unfortunately there has been plenty of ugly anti-Muslim rhetoric on this forum, the kind of rhetoric that helps create an ugly atmosphere, which could lead to ugly actions, like attacking a mosque with zero connection to the murder of those innocent girls, and smashing up shops and other businesses and properties. Perhaps the worst offenders; taxexile, merlotmike and d44, are hankering for a 21 century British kristallnacht against British Muslims (perhaps all Muslims).

Sometimes I don't like the actions of some Muslims in my own community, as I work with many, but that doesn't make me want to kill them or incite violence or tell them off or whatever. Kids need to be taught at a young age about differences, and that everyone should be respected no matter their differences. At least that is what we try to teach kids. There is a quote by someone that Racism is not born, it is taught and learned.

Priorities. The woman had a little emotional outburst on Twitter after hearing about the 3 kids murdered
