The Best National Anthems

I quite like Deutchland uber allis. But Le Marseillaise is good. Not so good when translated, a bit like nessun dorma. in english. Just doesn't do it. I hate the Australian anthem "our land is girt by sea" what fwit came up with that. I refer God bless Australia sung to the tune of waltzing Matilda. Although this one by the seekers is the most inclusive and beautiful words. This song really moves me.

I think the French have the best national anthem.
I also enjoy that of Italy

Have to agree that 'Advance Australia' doesn't cut it.

Almost as bad as ours.

I quite liked 'Jerusalem' until the barmy army started murdering it daily.
