It was the same in Australia.

It was the same in New Zealand.

It was the same in Outer Mongolia.

Lots of Thais do behave like that, all over Thailand (although, they are often driving a car home...).

To, be fair, it wasn't like that in Oman. Thus, my suggestion, if you'd like to feel more comfortable, is move to Muscat.

Wow... That sounds like Montreal in the 1970s.

Even in the downtown center, you would see guys pissing up against the wall of a major bank, in broad daylight.

Also, women walking down the streets in Montreal in the 1970s were at risk of some guy reaching out and squeezing a breast.

Years ago, there was many a day when some co-ed friend of mine at McGill would return to the dorm crying, after some lughead had squeezed her breast on the way back from city center in Montreal.

Well, that's the French, I guess.

The French love French kissing, and breast squeezing, it seems.

The 1970s was a better time.

Thailand definitely has a higher proportion of foreigners who are 'wasteman', as we put it on the streets of London, than in our own countries. My suggestion to you or anyone else is don't live in major cities or at least live on the outskirts or live in smaller towns if work is not an issue. You will find that the smaller Thai towns around Bangkok are peaceful, cute, lots of amazing food and plenty of things to do. There is also a certain untapped resource there of traditional women who do not want to leave their families. I always tell newbs fresh off the boat, if you want to find a nice Thai girl, move to a smaller town. I lived, wow that sounds strange saying that now, in Thailand for 20years, I have never been to Phuket or Pattaya and will never go. If you live in those two places particularly and you complain of idiot farang, then, you yourself are a massive idiot. I know a few of my friends on here live there and I am not calling you guys idiots for living there just that if you were to complain about this sort of thing and stay, then yeah, you're an idiot but I still love you 5555

Two towns I really love close to Bangkok are Suphan Buri and the surrounding towns where there is some great food, great people, access to the deeper wild in 1hr and access to Bangkok in 1hr. Ratchaburi with its access to the mountains and nature is also a great spot. If you want to go further to Isan, Surin and Ubon are great little towns/ cities.

Actually Betty. In Australia these days drunkenness of any kind isn't tolerated. Whatsoever. Every fucker here gets offended when you and a bunch of mates that you haven't seen for years start laughing to loudly and a couple of bouncers are called to eject you. Resulting in violence. Of course the cunts wait until you've all spent $400 each. Strange place now
