Very nice. Somewhere between a CB and a Speed Triple.

A mate has the new Trident 660. He's not a big guy and it suits him to a T.

Of all the moto's I have owned, my favorite was my 1989 Yamaha OWO1 FZR750R. 1989 FZR750R (OW01) - Communication Plaza | Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd.

I had to order it direct and it came in the crate and the dealership was not able to assemble the moto due to California laws. So a buddy of mine who worked at Yamaha and I assembled it in his garage. I couldn't license it so I used the license plate off my Yamaha FZR 400 I had when I would go ride. Sadly it got stolen out of my garage when I was off on a trip. Now if you can find one, they are worth some serious money.

It looks fine in the flesh for the price of it. And he stuck on a Scorpion Pipe so it sounds pretty good too.

If you post dumb comments, you should expect to be challenged on it, but ask yourself, why does it happen so often?

This is a pretty dope street fighter. Yamaha MT-09. Not overkill styling. But just right.

This is what I would call overkill styling. This Kawasaki. But even this isn't as overkill as the KTM and Suzuki offerings

The Ducati V4. I still like it but the proportions and stance are a bit off for a street fighter. It is raked.

BMW F900 R. Pretty clean. Similar to the Yamaha

Lack of countersteering to blame? Rider (deceased) hit three other motorcycles before hitting the water

And this guy didn't know it.

But in the aftermath, obviously people will think we had another Valentino Rossi here, who went way too fast around the curve. Bikes are dangerous, don't you know..

This rider just drips with inexperience. He has started by taking a poor initial line at the start of the curve and has not countersteered at all. His initial line should have been on the RHS of the road not the centre of the road at the start of the curve and obviously didn't know where the apex was or was unaware that he should. He ended up going exactly where physics woild've predicted, a virtual stralght line. Most likely a seppo as he is riding on the wrong side of the road. It looks too sunny to be europe.

That's the writing alongside the 7 on the trip meter. Right on about 12,500.

Considering the thousands of motorcycle-related deaths in this country each year only the more spectacular ones get news coverage; Thairath can usually be depended upon to run a few each day.

These are casualties in the aftermath of a crash in Samut Prakan last Thursday see post #91 where a Honda CBR 650 wiped out three scooters and their riders before hitting the canal, and the CBR rider dead

there are more today, more tomorrow, repeat. . .

Here's one from this morning, nice sunny day for a ride

11.30 a.m. June 20, 2566 Two foreigners on a Honda ADV 150 'at high speed' crashed into the rear of a stationary 18-wheeler in Pattaya, both dead at the scene.

    PANUS, indeed

Yeah. And in most of these single bike accidents we see in Thailand involving tourists , they are explicitly described as happening in curves. And I don't think it's a very big mystery what is going on.
