Awesome Simon, she seems like an absolute beast and I am sure had seen many travels; shame she was on her last legs!

    Glad to be back?

Back from where? I always seem to be travelling but Luang Prabang and the mountains of Laos are the places that I like the best. I will buy another Honda/Zhongshan/VietWin 150cc bike in the next few weeks and 'upgrade' it before my next mountain trip. Especially, I need to 'upgrade' myself with some back protection to try to minimise the thumping on my lower back (I fell off a horse yonks ago in another life and it compressed a couple of spine bones in my lower back, so riding a bike on bumpy roads should be a no-no, but I enjoy the mountain views to much to keep me off the bike!). I'll see if the pharmacy sells those compression back corsets (maybe just buy a corset...)
Groping women when you're old is fine - everyone thinks you're senile

^fuck me sounds awful, horses can be dangerous, mate died when I was 14 trying to break one in. Got thrown back and broke his neck/ back.

I've been away from Teakdoor for a wee while, last time I read you were in Blackpool! I'll have to read back a little but hope you are all good and well now!
One should listen twice as much as one speaks

Ah yes, I was in romantic Blackpool 1 year ago for prostate cancer tests, nothing found, so back to Luang Prabang. As much as is possible, I'm trying to plan for the future as I get more and more decrepit... My trip to the UK convinced me that returning back to live in the UK was bottom of my list of options!

Our trusty steed was lethal pulled to the left, nearly put us in a ditch a few times. You really had to steer hard right all the time.Violent head shake at all speeds and no brakes.
