Turns out, a few hundred million years ago, the whole planet was like a giant snowball. Everything was covered in ice & snow. This reflected the heat back towards the Sun, so there was no way for the planet to warm itself up. Cutting a long story short, volcanos erupting co2 into the atmosphere caused the planet to heat up & life, as we know it today, flourishes.
The planet went from -50 to +50 in just a couple of hundred years (the most extreme climate change this planet has ever known) & all the ice melted into the oceans. On the back of this, life has since gone on to dominate the sea, land & sky, in millions of different forms.
So, while I am prepared to admit that co2 in the air is responsible for warming up the planet, a few degrees temperature difference here & there has absolutely no bad effects whatsever & people should stop going on about it like it does.
