The next day I missed breakfast and stayed in bed until near enough lunch time, then went back to the Hard rock for a wee steak salad.

I went inside for a nosey and managed to find a pharmacy.

Loaded up on Strepsils and paracetamol

Started following signs for Observation deck tickets.

Only to be told that tickets are all sold out for the rest of the day, both towers.

Had to walk up a bloody mountain to get to this bad boy.

Och. You didn't miss much by not visiting the twin towers. Over rated. I actually don't have a lot of time for KL apart from it being sometimes convenient to transit through. It's never really floated my boat or given me a wow factor. The best thing I can say is if your arriving on airasia then use the train to get into KL central or if yer killing time hop in a cab and go 1 hour in the opposite direction from KLIA and stay in Port Dickson. Nothing flash but you can avail of local scran and beers .the beach is ordinary but plenty cheap hotels with pools

There was really nothing else to do with 1 day in KL without forward planning just had to hoof it around and make my own amusement.

I rocked up to the KL tower and there was a pretty long queue.

I noticed a big yellow poster with words to the likes of ‘SUPER ELITE FAST TRACK TICKET’ on it.

KL Tower - FAIL

Defeated, I dragged my sweaty ass back to the hotel to freshen up and reassess the situation.

Upon arrival at room 1501 I notice that the ‘housekeeping please’ card is still visible on the door.

But the trolly is only 2 doors down and the door in between has the ‘fuck off im doing naughty things’ card on display.

Fk it, it’s beer o’clock.

Well Davie I’m Scottish first and nothing of value gets left behind in my hotel rooms.

However, when one is staying in serviced apartments like BLD’s better half works, and there is a per diem to abuse, there will be plenty up for grabs.

@BLD, the last one was the Country Comfort Inn with Firehouse bar and grill.
