Seems the young lady has now procured a much larger water weapon, well done.![]()
Good to see the kids having fun.![]()
Yes well done Armstrong
Nice Armstrong!
Outstanding Armstrong. Good times and fun.
Yesterday was light. Only a few friends dropped by to have a few beers, some food and a swim. Today I think there is a different larger group of folks coming by with their children. One thing that is nice here versus the west most of the time, usually as the host you have to plan all the food, beverages and whatever entertainment. Here its a lot of wing it and they all bring their own food, all we supply is plates. Spirits always tend to be Leo and Chang or Sangsom which I never have on hand so they BTOB.![]()
it has been nice to see the young ones getting to enjoy it this year.
i went for a chinese with the wifes fam yetserday on soi 22 and it was all wet tarts and foreigners (nowt wrong with that) but noticed a lot more little ones allowed out to play this year.

Day 2 of the Songkran holiday. Today was wicked hot up here in the north. I had both mist fans and mist system around the pool running all day to keep it cooler.
Took a bike ride to the local coffee shop to get a green tea with lime to cool off. I was bombarded by young kids in the back of truck tossing water on everyone. nice cool off.
Sat and waited for my green tea. At this point it was only 97 degrees at 10:30am
Friends showed up around 11am and we set up a moo Kah Tah cook inside our downstairs area with the AC on full.
After lunch I headed to the pool area to get it ready for all to swim. ( Sorry Tax and SA. I know how you hate the good life)
Cheers
Stumpy, what's the water temp in your pool? Is it refreshingly cool or kind of warm to enjoy?
Yep, that's me in freezing cold Blackpool, peering furtively out through the window nets at the imbreds shouting outside....or curtain twitching in the UK.
But not for long! The medical events of the past 6 months have cost me thousands of dollars (MRI scan fees, flights, hotels blah blah blah). Flights booked and can't wait to get back to a 20 baht meal and sitting outside 7/11 with my lemonade while I leer at the clothes shop window mannequins...
Groping women when you're old is fine - everyone thinks you're senile
