Seems the young lady has now procured a much larger water weapon, well done.

Outstanding Armstrong. Good times and fun.

Yesterday was light. Only a few friends dropped by to have a few beers, some food and a swim. Today I think there is a different larger group of folks coming by with their children. One thing that is nice here versus the west most of the time, usually as the host you have to plan all the food, beverages and whatever entertainment. Here its a lot of wing it and they all bring their own food, all we supply is plates. Spirits always tend to be Leo and Chang or Sangsom which I never have on hand so they BTOB.

it has been nice to see the young ones getting to enjoy it this year.

i went for a chinese with the wifes fam yetserday on soi 22 and it was all wet tarts and foreigners (nowt wrong with that) but noticed a lot more little ones allowed out to play this year.

great pics Armstrong, not sure im up to all day drinking in this heat though, even with a water fest in progress

The key was to find a bar that we could hole up in so we've got shade and food. Knackered today though.

Day 2 of the Songkran holiday. Today was wicked hot up here in the north. I had both mist fans and mist system around the pool running all day to keep it cooler.

Took a bike ride to the local coffee shop to get a green tea with lime to cool off. I was bombarded by young kids in the back of truck tossing water on everyone. nice cool off.

Sat and waited for my green tea. At this point it was only 97 degrees at 10:30am

Friends showed up around 11am and we set up a moo Kah Tah cook inside our downstairs area with the AC on full.

After lunch I headed to the pool area to get it ready for all to swim. ( Sorry Tax and SA. I know how you hate the good life )

    Cheers

Stumpy, what's the water temp in your pool? Is it refreshingly cool or kind of warm to enjoy?

...or curtain twitching in the UK.
Yep, that's me in freezing cold Blackpool, peering furtively out through the window nets at the imbreds shouting outside.

But not for long! The medical events of the past 6 months have cost me thousands of dollars (MRI scan fees, flights, hotels blah blah blah). Flights booked and can't wait to get back to a 20 baht meal and sitting outside 7/11 with my lemonade while I leer at the clothes shop window mannequins...

This is an olive branch BTW.

Are we going to witness 2 grown ass men put their differences aside, give a handshake and move on?

The envy dribbling from your post is . . . typical.

Same . . . never had an issue with it. 35 degrees and you you're going to get doused - hardly a bad thing.

Why are elderly Australian men posting as US kids, and where's the Steve Buscemi gif?
