555 for a burger AMAZING , Great day to fast instead of fast food.

    Did you indulge or refrain?

I cannot think of a restaurant where I live I could spend 555 on Food but even the 250 steamboats or prawn/fish dishes far better than fried cow

On the subject of good (or poor) value food at airports, I stumbled across this food court when I took the new line up to Don Mueang.

In almost 20 years of using the airport, I had no idea of its existence!

Magic Point in both airports now for decades. Clean and delicious food served up where the airport employees eat. Surprised it took you so long to find it Hal.

The only reason i found it this time was cos I had to get off the train and walk a bit! I guess I missed in the past it cos I usually use taxis.

Two bowls of nam tok noodles and two drinks for about 150 baht. A gem of a place.

    Yes a ticket deal

Been revamped and prices 50-75 most dishes no more free water but about 10 x better than airside, Halal , gyoza lots of typical Thai food, BYO gin/vodka in discrete water bottle get a soda Bob's yer Dr if on a low budget, I don't drink grog on fly days I'm confused enough with all endless paper checks security, change of time color of money, I might get orf at the wrong end. Wife likes me to meet her there as real spicy street food at about 50% mark up, plastic cutlery etc

^Only place I eat at Swampy. Great good, standard pricing and your choice of a host of dishes.

I do not think I have eaten and DM in all my years here. Usually grab a coffee and hop the flight.

Bro we all know you are bucks up. Dont need that reinforced with each post you make on travel.

Our airport lounges throughout Thailand and at selected international THAI destinations welcome eligible travelers to relax or work in comfort prior to departing to their destination.

That's pricey for a luke warm burger with too much mayo. Kra Pao with a fried and and a Leo sounds better

While I was wandering at the airport in Manila, I ran across a shop that had cans of Dr. Pepper that were only 150P ($3 USD) a can. Passed...I've not had DP in years.

I made up my mind many years ago to never try DP. It must be very painful and it would leave a nasty taste in one's mouth.
