I bet that untouched Trout lake is full and ripe for some poaching.
I could see the place working as a ramblers YHA, but the investment needed would put most off.

The coach house has been restored and is usable. It's on AirBnB if you're interested.

The coach house @ Bennetston Hall is an 8 Bedroom building with a large living/dining room. Set on the grounds of the once prestigious, now derelict, Bennetston Hall, with Panoramic views overlooking our 2 acre lake.

We have 5 single bedrooms with en-suite facilities. Two of the en-suites on the ground floor are equipped with grab rails to assist people with mobility issues. Additionally, we have 2 rooms with small double beds and en-suite facilities, and one room with a standard double bed also with en-suite. All our en-suite rooms have showers. While our kitchen is relatively small for the size of the property, it is fully equipped with all the essential amenities. Please note that our property is quite isolated and there is no footpath on the main road outside, so reaching places on foot can be challenging. The nearest towns are located a 10-20 minute drive away.
Guest access
You will have private access to the full building as well as plenty of room to park a number of cars outside.
