    I think it’s pure luck to be honest. Indonesia got AZ because it came from the Covax scheme on behalf of WHO. There was probably a caveat about free availability to all, when it was given.
    Bali gets priority because the local economy is mostly tourism based, and being an island, it can be run as a separate bubble.
    I live in sleepy Sanur, so Legian is not on my radar. Even here the Hindu police close the beaches on a whim, so most beaches are recovering nicely thanks.

    I like Sanur, last place I stayed at.

    So what are the requirements for a retirement visa there? I see rents are nice and low.

    If you want a private pool villa on the beach side of the bypass, prices are pretty good right now. It won’t last forever though.
    I like the peace and quiet now, with no Bogan tourists. Stay away from Kota/Seminyak and you won’t go far wrong.
