There was a lit cigarette on the bench a couple of feet behind me, The glow, which I saw, with the naked eye came from an entirely different direction. Far brighter than any smoke I've ever seen....honest.

Any chances of you starting a photoshop thread as you're learning CMN?

I have seen many pics like that, on web though, but to be very honest this one looks real.

I just knocked this up quickly to highlight the difference between photoshop and real ghostie.
Use your zoomorology to really see the difference.

One of the most spooky experiences I have had was also in Chang-Mai/Rai in 1993. We were trekking, and on this particular night we were staying in an Akha village.
A group of Akha women seemed to just dissapear. It freeked everybody out who was in our trekking group. One moment we were chatting with them, then a gust of wind came which made us all glance in the direction of a wind-chime, .......and the women seemed to vanish into the night without a sound.

I took this pic of the same orchid last time I was in Chang Mai, and after closer inspection, I can almost make out something in the bottom right corner.
    Hmmmm.......

I hope to god there are no Turks looking at this site.
Such misuse of the revered head of the late Mustafa Kemal is a treasonous crime.
A foreigner was once jailed for 3 years in Istanbul for planting a fez on his statued head.

still, very funny Wally. How long does something like that take?

    Oh dear.

The great philandering alcoholic ex leader of Jonny Turkey is revered more than The King of thailand.
I would expect nothing less than the gallows for you CS.

    About 5 minutes.

I would be happy to help you learn a few basic moves on PS, so just fire away.... I teached the cap on an old thread on Thaizine a long time ago how to do the basics, and the cap being a good diligent student, learned quite fast..
Spending two weeks telling him how to use the 'Opacity' filter was a laugh.. It turned out there WAS NO filter called 'Opacity' !!! .......

You had to be there, I suppose

It reminded me of the time I owned a yacht. Always working on the bladdy thing, unexpected problems, and the 'amount' of joy I received in return just wasn't woth it. That said, I have a New Improved Version in the pipelines, and shall be launching it soon. There is a permanent position for you in the New Improved Version if you are interested, BTW

Nah, not really Wal. I did appreciate your help coz PS is very complex to the newbie. You will laugh when I tell you that I still aint uploaded them plug ins that you sent me. Cant figure it out. Encouraging Noony to learn PS is a good idea coz I am sure he wll pick it up toot suite and then he can do up his own ghostie pics without scarring the shit out of his family.

    Either:

    CMN is pulling our legs.
    There really was a ghost.
The camera flash picked up cigarette smoke that was otherwise too dark to see.

I think the last one personally but I will bore you for a minute with a ghost story.

I lived for a while near to the Brookwood cemetery, which is one of the largest in Europe. Pin, one of my wife's friends had recently arrived in the UK and was staying with us overnight.

The next morning she claimed to have had a very vivid dream in which one of the ghosts from the cemetery came to her and took her back to the cemetery with him, where he made love to her. When the ghost tried to take her off somewhere else she ran away and then woke up.

All balderdash of course and the result of a very over active imagination, but she did have a very impressive love bite on her inner thigh, which she swore was not there before.
    Lord, deliver us from e-mail.

I never touched her your honour. You've obviously never met my wife or you wouldn't suggest such a thing.

I seem to remember that she was happy enough with the sex, it was just the going back to his tomb she objected to.
