After King Rama V died and the funeral had passed, his son, King Rama VI (Prince Wachirawut) succeeded his father’s throne. Seeing his mother, the (then) Supreme Queen Consort Sripatcharintra becoming old and frail, he suggested her a new home at Payatai Palace (the now, Pramongkutklao Hospital) of which the environment especially the weather was better.
Upon moving things, all of her sons were gathered which was a rare opportunity for at that time each had already grown up and had his own business to attend to, might it be duty or studying. So, the King found it a good opportunity to take a group photo (29th March 1910).
