You know sometimes you have the odd bad day, not catastrophic, just niggling.

Well, i don't usually tune into the news but i must say during my extended sojourn in the NW...soon to end i might add, i have taken to cheering myself up by watching the NorfWest News programme at 18.30. It is a half hour of unremittingly depressing news stories that is the life of the down trodden Norverner. I can see why Dill and Hal jumped ship and got the hell out of dodge and why Chitty has created his sensory deprivation shed. Having said that, the news is then capped off by the weather, equally unrelentingly depressing with the words, dull, overcast, cold and wet featuring large but delivered by the most camp welsh weather bloke you'll ever see, as ray of gayness in the greyness.

The cheer here is that just a mere 30 minutes a night of this programme is akin to a session under a UV light for a SAD sufferer, its genuinely uplifting in resetting your mood vis what a shit time others are having. I may see if I can get it on BBC I-player once I decamp south again.
