    Wonderful motorcycles.
    Still a pushrod OHV.
None of this gay, modern OHC or DOHC bollox.
Huge torque, enough bhp, red line at sensible numbers.
Hand made alloy tank & seat cowl.
Carbon fibre airbox & mudguards and flyscreen.
    Top end suspension & brakes.
Expensive, lovely wire wheels and alloy rims.
22k is not outrageous for that, or overly expensive for what you are getting.
    And the name....

And a long-lasting timing chain, not a frigging timing belt which can break if you don't spend $ 500 getting it changed. My car is like this....pushrod but really smooth and although a V6, as good on gas as my old 4 cylinder because its computer-controlled.

Er, OHV in motorcycles are pushrod operated, cams generally driven by gears, the exceptions being BMW air heads and Moto Guzzi, which are chain driven..
I cannot think of a timing belt used on an OHV motorcycle engine, or any engine for that matter.
Perhaps you are confusing OHV with OHC or DOHC, overhead cams driven by chains or belts.
As for $500 changing a belt?
Toyota charge 4k TB for a Hilux belt and tensioner bearing, parts and labour. Once every 100k kms.
Not excessive and rather good value for money.
I do the job myself for 2-2.5k in parts because i can, and i like to check other stuff simultaneously.

As for talking about the merits of 4 & 6 cylinder car engines, and modern efi, you are digressing and going rather off topic, as this is about wonderful motorcyles for 22k GBP, and not crappy cars.

He really just doesn't know much of anything.

I've lost track of how many off-target comments he has made about cars, engines etc. in the past.

Err OK, but I've never had a mortgage loan from my in-laws. You must be confusing the shit you guys just make up with reality again. Thanks for the thought though.

Since you're back and dragging family into it again though are you going to abuse my kids and then lie about it again, scumbag?

Do you struggle with reading comprehension as well as being a low-life who abuses posters kids and stalks down their school info?

Long past time you took a good long hard look at yourself.

Are you an invalid or cripple?
    If so - ok.
If not - that is a very bad piece of machinery and you have no taste.
This is the problem with forums and TD in particular.
Someone starts an interesting thread about something interesting, which then goes off onto run of the mill car engines and hideous invalid 3 wheeler Honda Phantoms for 38k.
Stick to talking about Norton motorcycles with alloy tanks for lots of money or start your own thread.
Like whatd'ya think about this 200cc Honda Phantom trike?
Is it a piece of shit?
    Yes.
But if you are an invalid, i will recommend it.

Yes, I'm an invalid. During the last days of the Vietnam war I inadvertently stepped on a landmine. Luckily only the primer went off, but it damaged my left leg, left testicle and left me deaf in my left ear. My left testicle swelled so much that during my rehab, the doctors advised me to have it removed. I declined and later was able to parlay my oversized testicle into a set of "documentaries" that were hosted by "BangBros".

However, my left leg from my ankle to my knee was screwed, especially my ankle. Basically the skin was cooked off and and my knee was bent at an unnatural angle after the mine went off but after 2 surgeries I was able to walk again. I still set off metal detectors at the airport due to the pins that hold my knees and ankles together. My youtube videos of my recovery landed me an offer to appear on "Dancing With The Stars" but obviously I'm not that kind of media whore. Frankly, what would I do next? I'm passionate about teaching so I decided to become a low paid TEFLER in order to balance my karma for all of those wasted years spend in the in the MSM as a recovering addict/porn star.

    I'm sure you understand.

Bu the knows how to valve the windows on a car which is really important to let out all the hot, fetid air he generates.

It was indeed started as a pisstake. The name is coincidental. I do like the classic Brit machines, Norton being one but the name is one of a shipmate and close friend no longer with us.
