    Wink

I've been on various online forums for 20 years now. My first Thai-related forum was Ajarn. In my first post (which was on the same username as here and on TV) I was asking for help regarding the way a Thai government school was jerking me around- got some good advice, too- I remember Khun Kru and Shaky Steve as especially helpful that time.

Later I decided to come out on Ajarn- which led to a period of relative openness regarding sexuality there, though unfortunately that time has passed. At least I made some good friends as a result of that (though some wacky trolls and enemies, too).

Yeah, I remember those early days with the TEFL wars and whatnot... Ken's reactions and style were a bit OTT then, but he's really come a long way and deflates & defeats almost all his trolls now (and is damn funny, to boot)....

Yeah I couldn't agree more, an excellent thread from the paragon of posters. If there was any justice from the Great Market God he'd be writing books and making squillions of dollars from them.

Wait a second.....maybe he already is (your shout danbo you cad).

All of a sudden I'm too lazy to write about my first post, ( I think it's very civilised that you can use laziness as a valid excuse in this country), but like Douglas McArthur, Arnold Schwarzenegger and herpes, I'll be back.

Well I'm old enough to decide if I wish to raise a family and I believe that is a huge responsibilty (I can only guess).

And I am also old enough to decide upon my future career and choose what subjects I should study at school which may be a small decsion but reflects my future, such big consequences.

Now if I'm old enough to do the above shouldn't that mean I can hold my own opinions? Sure I may only be a minor in the laws eyes and that is why I am protected to a certain degree but it shouldn't mean I can not have my own opinions.

I'm a pretty open minded person and I know my opinions will be forever changing right now as I grow older so I always leave room for change because I find that to be very important. And as I am in Thailand I find most my friends are older and I learn a lot more from them.
    Welcome to the jungle!

I didn't know that at all because I don't know what you posters are like here on TeakDoor yet! I'm still learning!

Even still my post hasn't gone to waste because I've made a few points.

Damn! I forgot to include the 'sarcasm' smiley again. I'm glad someone got it.
