good question.

they move quite fast sometimes and I'd hate to miss a red and then not know who to smite back in petty, childish revenge.

Need to be checked after breakfast and again before dinner at least.

I check them quite a lot.

I get greens from a variety of posters & reds from the same couple of posters all the time.

I gave out my first 'revenge' red today. I felt dirty afterwards.

I check the points about once a week.

I don't miss any b/c I don't them very often, but I don't give them that often anymore either.

It's interesting to get a green for a post, that I didn't think a particular poster would good, insightful, or noteworthy.

I check my CP at least once a day, but not after every post.

I don't quite understand, however, why some feel it necessary to tell everyone when they've redded or greened somebody. If you're going to tell a poster their idea/remark is shit (or fantastic), then why bother a rep hit -- and vice versa.

That reminds me, the rep thing used to be anonymous, used to get some really nasty comments on them at that time, now Mr Earl seems to have calmed down a bit though

Yeah I've been a member on forums that do it anonymously and it gets quite nasty. People start giving reds posing as other posters and writing nasty messages. It's much better this way --- plus the children on this forum can give out "revenge reds".
