Georgetown near the waterfront.
Filling the canal back up
I guess the Thai that bought the company didn't do so well. Sad this was a great spot for a coffee and snack.
Cool old market house hopefully something else will move in.

Although after a ten week break our surveyor was struggling on his first shift back.
Today I win the Internets...
Where's me prize?
Wow!!!
Seal managed to escape unharmed evidently but what a hell of a pic!
No doubt, a sudden and forceful evacuation.
Probably tasted like fish though so all is well that ends well.
Kristiansund, northern Norway.
A couple of mystery packages on the quayside.
That shrink wrapping job is impressive.
Here are a few characters and protesters I saw last week on coffee break.
The black guy in the middle had a "build the wall" sign and turned just as I went to take the picture.
I've seen people a this one in all weather conditions over the years.
This one was singing some ultra religious stuff over a loudspeaker.
Interesting spelling on this one.
Saw a few of these on the benches I guess in hopes that it will transfer onto someone's shirt.
These two looked pretty normal except for there footwear.
The old 911 was an inside job folks on the far right. I always thought older people were smarter than that.
Another Korean one and the old guy was back again. That was it for last week maybe a whole new crop next week.
A bird in the hand beats
this crazy cockatiel.
She is one Mad Hatter.
She gets around I must say. Hopefully someday she'll settle down and stop tweeting so much and just do Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp or something.
Giving my wife some time in the hilux on bush tracks. Thought we'd have a ramble in the bush after parking here -
but noticed that the tree was broken -
and if the base broke any more it would be coming down.
Parked elsewhere.
Who needs cats?
One of our chickens just finishing swallowing a mouse it had caught.
^ I grew up in the countryside about 10 miles from that pic.
If you walk across the Clifton Suspension Bridge you can get a badge...
And a view from the bridge taken a few years ago (before I got my badge at the other side).
It's very tidal, with the River Avon reducing to mudflats at low tide, the main reason Bristol died as a port.
There's been a lot of suicides from the bridge over the years. The most famous event was probably in 1885 when, after a 'lovers tiff', a woman jumped off the bridge to end it all. The Victorian style skirts she was wearing though acted like a parachute and she drifted down, landed in the mudflats and survived. She lived to 85.
Mother's Day here, so M'Sahib limbering up with some pre lunch yoga, ably guarded from any unwanted attention from me by Barby the Pit Bull.
