I think it's Neptune or Uranus where it rains diamonds.

The most successful ad/scam ever is said to be de Beers 'diamonds are forever' slogan, turning rock into valued gems through a few hypnotic words.

The first humans to reach Neptune will be surrounded by millions of tons of diamonds, and won't be able to bring back even a pocketful.

^On Saturn's ice moon Enceladus there are are geezers spraying water plumes hundreds of kilometres into the sky and falling back as ice and snow.

It would be cool if there were diamond geezers on Neptune!

No reason why not, in fact the geezers could be living on a diamond planet where dirt is so rare that only the richest could afford a few grains.

Neutrinos are the second most abundant particles in the universe after photons. The sun sends 65 billion neutrinos per second per square centimeter to earth. So about 100 trillion of them pass through the human body every second.

Hmmm. In the west we have l of kitchen devices for mixing cakes, bread, et al. But no Thai person has invented an electric somtam maker?

And life was grim until the Spaniards came back with tobacco and from henceforth professorial types looked a lot wiser tamping down their pipes whilst mulling the mysteries of the universe.

On the subject of world population, interesting talk on why the world population wont exceed 11 billion, by the world renowned statistician Hans Rosling. watch it to the end, it is only 16 min and it would be perfectly clear.
