To be fair, the pub guide to Jakarta needs quite a bit more work doing on it, there's only three places mentioned. The My bar thread, on the other hand, seems to have been crafted with a lot more care and attention by it's originator.

Did he stop short and give us just three months to feast on? No, he gave us the complete collection, the full twelve.

Obviously a subject close to his heart.

Most of us can find a pub or watering hole in any city or town. The difficulty comes in finding the 'local hotspots' and usually involves finding a local taxi to take you there, knowing you could be ripped off and taken for a half hour taxi ride when the place is just round the other corner.

So obviously this thread is of more use to us and will get more views, besides i'm a DOM.

i just got on a bit of a roll really, besides the i wish to craft the pub thread, inspired by marmites brit bars in bangkok thread,i dont want to rush it.
