Military parade continues despite Pattaya floods
Heavy rain in Pattaya failed to stop the military parade along the Pattaya beach road held Sunday afternoon as part of the International Fleet Review 2017 to mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of Asean.
Heavy rain preceded the parade and flooded the Pattaya beach road. But after the rain stopped, the parade which involved military personnel from countries participating in the fleet review commenced in the company of the Royal Thai Navy marching band on the flooded beach road from Tawanna night plaza to Pattaya 8 school.
Prior to the parade, several activities were held, including parachuting with parachuters carrying the national flags of 10 Asean countries, the Asean flag and the RTN flag and demonstration of sea rescue operations.
