    No, you're wrong...

Why is it that some people just have to disagree with whatever you say?

There are very few foreigners here in Naypyidaw, and about the only one that I know has the "ah but you're wrong" disease.

It doesn't matter what I say - this cvnt has to disagree with me and have the last word.

"I jogged 5km before breakfast, feel really good"
"You will feel bad later - you should never jog before breakfast"

"I just had a nice meal at that Thai restaurant"
    "No, their food is crap"

"I bought a new mobile phone last week, 3,000 baht"
    "You were ripped off"

"My class of kids are learning really well"
"They are all lazy - you aren't pushing them"

    "It's my birthday tomorrow"
"Nope - you only think it is, actually your birthday was last week"

and on and on and on.....

Sometimes I feel like stabbing the guy with a bread knife.

So what mental illness or personality weakness do people like this have, that makes them disagree with whatever comment someone else makes?

I'd like to know too. Whenever I give a guy I drink with some sound proven sound advice he just chuckles as if I'm talking bollix. It's come to a stage now where I just don't bother and the cnut can sink. He told me he was bringing some big cash money over from Oz. I told him he needed to declare the sum if over a certain figure. 'Not in Oz' according to him. 'If you have it you can do what you like with it, it's yours'.

You can choose to carry currency out of Australia, or into Australia, but you must declare it if it is $10,000 or more in Australian dollars, or a foreign currency equivalent.
I hope the cnut gets busted.

It's not a mental illness or personality weakness, Simon. You're wrong there, mate. It's just a different way to carry on small talk than you're used to. You need to open your mind a bit, mate. Live and learn. You'll get there one day, son.

My point has been scientifically proven as correct, and the 3 of ye are not only incorrect, but simply uneducated in the matter. Sorry.

I'm shocked that you actually believe that both me and Luigi could both be wrong.

You're obviously not experienced enough to know better. Between us, we're the sum of all knowledge.

And if you were talking to a Thai......................

"I jogged 5km before breakfast, feel really good"
"Why you not go by motorbike"

"I just had a nice meal at that Thai restaurant"
"My friend has a new restaurant, go there next time"

"I bought a new mobile phone last week, 3,000 baht"
"Can I have your old one"

"My class of kids are learning really well"
"Its OK, they will all pass the exam, anyway"

    "It's my birthday tomorrow"
"Where you going to take me to"

    Some farang live for oneupmanship

''I can get it cheaper, you should have told me before''

''41 Baht from Nana to Asoke? You got ripped off''

''I know a geezer at immigration sorts it out for me''

''20 Baht for pineapple? I know where you can get it for 15''

''100 Baht for a sim card in 7-11? She's ripped you off mate, they're only 50, you should have asked for it in Thai''

    and so on....

Met a few like that down in Mandalay, I'd rather be lonely. The all the locals hate foreigners type really do my head in. They always seem to be having some sort of ordeal where the claim to be 'mistreated/ not respected.

Sounds like a good opportunity to have some fun, to be honest.

Create a false back in one of his drawers and put a dead fish in it.

Program all his computer files to open up a Hello Kitty cartoon.

Pay a local Ladyboy to storm into the office one afternoon demanding her panties and yaabaa back.

Life's too short bud, have some fun.

I know someone who taped an opened can of tuna fish to the underside of a coworker's desk...

    Just give it time....
