I know we have a couple of Brisbane posters so I thought I'd post this up for kicks.

Enjoy, but beware the nostalgia.

Thanks for the memories. I remember when the city hall was the tallest building and you could go up in a lift to look out from the top. I was in grade 10 then.
I did an extensive review of the history on BNE not that long ago.
An 'extensive review' means what exactly?
I don't think that last one's Brisbane.
Grafton?
^ jacaranda trees in bloom, could be Pretoria.

Coorparoo,I'm living last street bottom left.
the Valley still there.
What I remember was that it was fucking freezing in 2005. I left with just t-shirts and one thin jacket.
7C in August, the coldest for 20 years they said.
At nearby Surfer's Paradise, it was swimmer's misery - too cold to swim, spent most my time in the hotel jacuzzi.
This is in fact Brisbane. Newfarm Park. Know it well.
Grafton has them too.
What makes you so positive that it is BNE?
The river does not provide a lot of detail.
On the other side, a small shed?
I am inquisitive as my grandfather was the on-site gardener and caretaker.
Well actually, I'm not 100% positive. Just the way it looks....I have been there many times.
I was just trying to convey that although a couple of people seemed to think it was Grafton, that Brisbane has does in fact have Newfarm Park, with extensive Jacarandas.....
Thank you. I have been there 100s of times but not for at least 10 years.
The proximity of the road to the river is the turnoff for me.
In BNE, Graceville, Sherwood and other western suburbs compete well.
Incidentally, it was a originally a racecourse. My grandfather lived on site for about 60 years.
'One day at time.'
Bris vegas, the city where the yellow cabs are actually orange.
Great shot - well before my time.
Conveyance was always via a tram/bus, bicycle or my father's ute (pickup).
