Shock as two five-year-old girls are bound and blindfolded by teachers at a Thai school

Two five-year-old girls are bound and blindfolded by teachers at a school in Thailand as a cruel punishment for ripping PAPER

The two pupils were tied up in front of shocked classmates in Surin, Thailand
The school’s headmaster said it was a good way to teach concentration
The photos of the pair taken by a shocked third teacher were handed to parents of the girls earlier this week
The two teachers were ordered to pay the girls’ parents £915 in compensation
Authorities have since launched an urgent investigation into the school

Two five-year-old girls were bound and blindfolded by teachers at a school in Thailand – as punishment for ripping paper in class, it has been claimed.

The two pupils were tied up in front of shocked classmates after angering their two female teachers in the Thai city of Surin. The students and teachers have not been publicly identified.

Pictures show how their hands were strapped together before paper was put over their eyes and fixed in place with blue tape.

The photos of the pair taken by a shocked third teacher were handed to parents of the girls earlier this week.

The school, however, defended the teachers – with the headmaster saying it was a good way to teach them how to concentrate.

Meanwhile, the images have sparked outrage online.

After a father of one of the girls contacted police, the two teachers were ordered to pay 40,000THB (£915) in compensation and authorities have launched an urgent investigation into the school in Surin, Thailand.

The furious father said: ‘The teacher who gave me the pictures told me that the other teachers had punished my daughter and friend by strapping their hands together then he blindfolded them.

‘We think that another girl was hit but we don’t have a picture of this. The children were just playing with the paper and they ripped it. The teachers said they had done something wrong and punished them like this.

‘They said “close your eyes” and then they put white paper and blue Scotch tape to cover their eyes. Then another layer and bound their hands together.

‘The teacher who found them said the girls were crying, trembling and sobbing terribly.’

He added: ‘The teachers threatened them and both were frightened and did not know what else to do.’

A crisis meeting was held was held on Thursday and was attended by the headmaster, the parents, the two female teachers responsible and local police.

Each teacher agreed to pay 20,000THB (£457) in compensation and requested transfers to different schools.

Narong Meuanchart, the deputy education department chief in the province, said a committee had been set up to investigate the abuse and the pair could face further legal action.

unsuprisingly, the chickenhead, even one who has "qualified" to enter into the professions, is capable of plumbing depths previously thought of as unplumbable.

this remarkable ability for idiocy and irresponsibility comes naturally to them thanks to the abundance of the stupid gene that has been naturally selected into their genome as they happily swing from tree to tree in isaan, fornicating mindlessly as the fancy takes them, in the land that time forgot.

    Ordered to pay compensation.
Defended and excused by school authorities.
    Able to retain their positions.

    Wow.
Should've been criminally prosecuted as well as stripped of all teaching credentials and blacklisted from practicing anywhere else.

    Thainess prevails again.

Phew I got a shock the kid on the left, is same build and hair. as my 5yr old.

Jeff where does it say the education dept has excused them and been able to keep their positions.

I seem to see an investigation has been opened and they may face further legal action.

Imagine if a teacher done this in a Western country.

What would happen is the Parent would go fuking berserk and smash fuk out of the offending teacher then have to deal with Police consequences.

The long termers in this country know that the Thai simply are fuked up.

    It's born in them.

Surely, as a long-timer and quite apt regarding Thai things, then you would certainly understand that nothing will come of it - eventually swept under the rug.

It's the complete absence of any common sense that marks them out as, what I believe, to be a subset species. They simply do not have any.
To be truthful, it is this trait shared among them that made the country so appealing to us in the first place when we discovered the madness of their society and its propensity for fun and tomfoolery all those years ago. The flip side is of course reckless, congenital and dangerous imbecility underpinned by greed and sloth.

Damn social media. If it wasn't for smartphones they would have gotten away with it.

(Same as Catholic Church teachers, priests and nuns did, eh.)

Friggin' 5-year-old kids caught ripping up paper! Teach 'em a proper lesson.
Where are the water boards and cattle prods...or at least tazors ?
