In some multinational companies the Human Resources department keep a register of those people who may be gay. They do so for the purposes of insurance and to pre-empt lawsuits.

The way they determine involves a number of methods, eg internet usage, monitoring of computer keystrokes for certain words.......

    "Bumming"
    "I'm a bummer"
    "Buggery"
    "Bugger I"
    "Arse bandit"
    "Ladyboy"
    "Left-handed frogman"
    "Chocolate starfish"
    "He's nice"

    Stuff like that.

    No idea.
I can't remember the age either but it was way too low for any accurate assessment.
The report was for internal use only and so it could never be questioned.

Strikes me as very odd - can't help but think it was perhaps aimed at weeding out the teachers more than anything else?

A selection of moderators have concurred that you deserve the warning and penalty, with no dissenting opinions. The view is that you have posted disrespectfully regarding the moderating team, and therefore have commented on moderation.

In reference to your earlier query about Britmaveric, his post was clearly referring to the extra workload incurred on the moderating staff if such an extra forum were to be created, not questioning our ability to implement it.

If you feel the judgements of these moderators and I have been in error, you are free to contact administration.

At this point I do not care to discuss the matter further- take it up with Admin if you are still dissatisfied. I'm afraid that I must emphasize that I do not want further PMs from you on the matter except to acknowledge receipt of this message and/or compliance with forum rules (whether or not they are clear to you) and this request.

I thought that 'respect' nowadays was something reserved only for black men carrying firearms.

You've disrespected the TV mods on here. They don't like that at all. Bronco for one seems to have a pathological hatred of this site going by some of his old postings in Bedlam, so actually participating here makes you a marked man.

If you're looking for new Niks...

IF you use that as your signature as well it'll freak IJWTT out.

^I average one post a week on TV so it's unlikely I appear on their neighbourhood watch troublemaker list. Don't know about the man with the flag tho'

About the same lately - it's been more than the usual stultifying experience of late.

And what possibe use would this information be in education?

I think that could be interpreted as a gross invasion of privacy and a little bit creepy.

Especially if it is about children as young as twelve.

    Agreed.
The teachers have not received any training on how to make the assessment.

^And thats precisely why gay teachers are not persecuted out of the profession.

Because their gaydar is able to spot gay kids - and therefore they are more useful than normal teachers.

^ But a teachers job is to educate the kids not identify the gays

How can 75% of boys in an average class be gay? Sounds very odd for a teacher to say that, wishful thinking perhaps?

^^I agree, education is the main objective,
But a secondary objective - an 'ancillary benefit' if you will, is identifying the reluctant breeders.

    ^Because perhaps he's thinking...."oooh, hello you"

Why do they need to spot potentialy gay kids?

Are they worried about a gay revulotion?

Explain to me and Lily why this is a benefit ?
Why does a 12 year old need to identified- how will it benefit the kid ?
