    Not a list of pets, perhaps it's the accessibility of catching and eating if you're in a tight spot.

    Yeah, it is an odd list, but as the article explains, it's based on several factors.
    Companionship may have been overlooked. I daresay a dog beats all the other for intelligent companionship.
    However, for a furry creature to look at, doesn't hurt you, isn't harmed by captivity, ease of care etc (how did the bactrian camel get on the list if ease of care is important?) like having a hamster, wallabies seem to be quite good.
