Merry Christmas Cjack...... Its Christmas morning here too! Nursing a hangover. Will prolly end up in the toilet most morning. Those Lambanog sessions will kill me.

Happy Christmas morning to all TD members. Hope y'all have a good day.

We made it through to 6am before the boys emerged, sleepy eyed, but excited by the day.

First they checked that Santa and the Reindeer were duly fed and watered and then wandered over to the tree to see what extra gifts had been delivered.

    Indeed, the pile had grown.

But they weren't spoilt, some of those are clothes and some books, some educational toys and some presents between my Partner and myself. I some quality wax for the car ...

Pat, they actually have a Train Set, given to us by a friend.

What you saw was two presents. they were also given to us by friends, so we had no idea what they were, except that they were light to carry.

We were a little surprised what emerged as the gift.

We'll define them as aspirational toys !

Maybe in a year or two ...

Done and dusted by a bit after 9am, first beer cracked just before Midday.

Who I feel sorry for is my neighbour.

Single guy, no partner (ever), used to live with his dad before he passed.

Maybe next year, when the kids are a bit older we'll invite him round to share the morning.

In line with what CrackerJack penned above ... a Merry Christmas to one and all on the TD.

    Bring on the New Year.

BTW, we'll be back over in Thailand earlyish 2017, maybe a few beers with whoever is in/near Bangkok then?

Merry Christmas to everyone! All's well in my corner of flipland. Hope everyone's happy & healthy in toyland, oz-land, kiwiland, swissland (for patsy), pomland, krautland & all other lands!

@david48 - they're cute lil boys. They have more hair now from the last pic (the aunt patsy vodka pic). Give them hugs frm aunt katie. Cheers!

^^ Ahh, the memories- it was more like 4 or 5am though when we were downstairs tearing at the presents!

The oven's on, the roast potatoes are going in soon and the first beer of the day has just been opened.

    All is well..

It isn't Christmas until you've watched The Snowman.

Merry Christmas to all. Grand niece is a happy lass today. Everyone else is working, waiting for New Year break to arrive.

Decided against the turkey yesterday, plenty of them frozen in Robinson. Not sure if they had breasts though.
I have plumped for sirloin steak in a red wine and mushroom sauce. Family have decided on tum yum talay and chicken salad.

Done and dusted now that Mary has posted the pictures of her Christmas roast beef and vegetables on Facebook.
My Wife's Roasts are the talk of the world, better than any Michelen restaurant that could never get near her standards of cooking the worlds best Roasts.

I heard that someone high up has a turkey farm, hence the restrictions on imported turkeys. Flat-chested turkeys; locally grown perhaps?
