I was very lucky to meet the Pouges when they were first starting out.

I worked in a Pub in London in the Cross, had a small music hall attached.

The Pouges used to play there early on (mid/latish 80's).

Serving their audience, I learnt a few drinks, including the ubiquitous snakebite.


Great band, Sean was a character to match the public perception ... decent, if often pissed guys.

Doubt they'd remember me though.
