    Mourning period.!

My mate has just informed me that his wedding in Bangers planned for Dec 11th has been postponed because the mourning period the King is one year.

I feel quite disappointed because I was hoping to shag my mates mum at the wedding... and I still have the flights out there... so, party or no party in December in Thailand?
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

Neo maybe you have this wrong.
You can have a Wedding but it the loud music stage with the dancing girl are out.
Keep it in doors this is good as it should be air cond.
The bars can open but keep the music down.

No party. Your previous visits/benders haven't really worked out that well for you.

The words "spectacular" and "meltdown" come to mind.

    Jus' sayin'.

    Total Bull cock.

There was a Hash last Monday. The restaurant requested that there be no singing, which had already been decided. On arrival at the restaurant the regular band was in full swing.

There is a competition at present in Bangkok to see who can be the most pious!

    No need to cancel anything.

Unless it was going to be a large lavish OUTDOOR wedding.
Better to think inside the pub, than outside the box?
I apologize if any offence was caused. unless it was intended.

The postponing of the wedding in December is obviously a personal decision by the couple and their families. I'm sure other weddings will take place within the next year, and I'm sure there will be parties in the next year. Neo, perhaps you can arrange to shag your mate's mum regardless of the lack of a wedding this year. May the force be with you. And don't forget the follow up picture thread.

She might be a lonely widow.

    Of course there will be.
The intensity of the official mourning period is still in it's infancy, therefore taken literally and somewhat seriously.

This will fade on the surface within a few months, even though there is an official observation put upon the country.

The rhetoric will pass in due course and most will be back to their usual routines of life....

    ^ Good post mate. FOJ

Umm yeah, you *grudgingly* are right, I suppose.. Jeff is very reasonable of late when he wants to be. (keep up the gun-ja therapy, it seems to be working bud).

Unfortunately that's the sad fact of life. Good bad, or otherwise, you gonna die... tick tock, tick tock... one day, all our eyes will close for the last time, before our long nap...

Heaven or hell (if you believe in fairy tales) awaits your soul/spirit on departure from this physical plane of existence (sorry guys, I'm channeling Jeff).
Of course, 90% of current scientific wisdom dispels such ideas *religion* as man-made tools of deception...

To them, , we cease to exist once our hearts stop beating - and blood doesn't get to our brains (blood never got to my brain anyway)...

I believe/hope we continue in some form - as we are energy/mass and that can not ever be destroyed (only take a different form). In that case, we are all eternal.

fark this .... too deep for a Friday - gotta get deep, in a sheep and a beer (chug chug.. plop blop)

Anywayy... back on topic. Does this mean the beer bars of Soi 7 won't be competing for the destruction of punters ear drums and there'll be no impromptu yaba fuelled go go dancing on the tables..?
