I ride without a helmet from the Farm to the near-by Ma n Pa Shop ... it's a great freedom.

Different story though (before we bought a car) when on the main road going to the local Lotus.
Everyone with lids on then.

Horses for courses.


Just being honest ... I'm not a PC sort of guy.

I presume the ground on the way to the ma and pa shop is softer than the ground elsewhere then?

Actually, mostly YES

First third is through the Farm (dirt), the last third is on a backwater road with a canal on one side and the middle third, looks like this ...



Don't think a helmet is going to help me much there ... unless it's a diving helmet !


Not everyone riding experience is the same.

We've all done it.

It was actually a Thai copper who made the salient point when fining me for riding from Sathorn to Silom without a helmet.
