Flagstaff is nice. Green Valley is ok with the mountains to the west. Tubac, where art and history meet, is a cool artist town that reminded me of the old west.
Rio Rico is a nice area. I wouldn't like Nogales as I'd feel like a minority. I turned down a job in Rio Rico a long time ago. A major player in Milwaukee set up maquiladora operations and was wooing me down there. Went twice once in December once in July just to test the weather. We, the gf and I had to pass.
Hope the move goes well and it pans out for you. Do a pic thread of the area and if you find the Lost Dutchman let us know.
Got some good steak houses south of there. I was taken to a place where all the old movie stars ate, like John Wayne ect. They made a lot of western movies in southern Az.
I was told Paul McCartney had a ranch not far from where we were. We went to the top of Mount Lemon in Tucson. It reminded me of Wisconsin. The Vistas on the way up would make for a great thread.
Enough fish stories. .............. peace out, the fish.
