Thanks cap...too many beers to remember the correct prefix.
And yes marmers...you are quite correct.
Well, Cap. That is a good question that deserves an answer.Marmers, what is your opinion on racists?
Seeing as I'm English, I've probably been subject to more racism than those of other nationalities, as everyone likes to have a pop at us. It's water off a ducks back though, as I understand the concept of envy.
Also, I'm lucky that the UK is an extremely tolerant place where people of every denomination on Earth live side by side in reasonable harmony - unlike most other countries. This I am very proud of as we have some very fine people from all different backgrounds doing good things. Sadly though, it seems that the powers that be, cater more towards minority groups than they do the majority (as I believe is true in Aus, too) and I agree that something needs to be done to change this, but in a political non-violent way.
Luckily, I live in Thailand (where I am the outsider) so the UK's problems are not mine anymore. The racism in Thailand is the same as I've had just from being English in other countries (including my own), being induced by envy.
My thoughts on this subject, like many others, are not 'black & white', but this is my general take on it.
Why do you ask, Cap?
