    Another terrorist attack.........

I have just seen a video on the internet showing a car plowing through a group of people celebrating an event in Bangkok at a temple.

Is this real or am I seeing things.................

    Terrorists.

We don't recognize who the real terrorists might be.

No idea but quite a few people were taken out at high speed.

    Absolutely horrific footage.

According to The Nation, a motorist "got a seizure and lost control of her car that was apparently being driven at fast speed."

    No mention of terrorism.

Police said the Toyota Soluna, which was driven by a woman appeared to be about 40 years old, lost control and crashed through the sidewalk fence at the intersection before it happened to pass through the gate of the shrine and stopped just before it hit the shrine.

Her car hit four women and three men, who were worshiping the shrine. The seven were rushed to the Police Hospital, Chulalongkorn Hospital and Bangkok Christian Hospital.

Police have yet to identify the driver and interrogate her.

The accident happened at about 8:20 pm.

Yes, I know that intersection well and to actually get a vehicle in there the way that the driver did must be almost impossible.

Quite a sad place of death and destruction these days and they should shut it down.

    Bad, Bad Karma......................

Most important question, was she rich and suffering from temporary madness, poor girl, and therefore entirely innocent of any wrongdoing or was she poor, vicious, dangerous, murderous scum without even the bare amount of cash required to buy a low-level mental illness? Inquiring, and greedy, minds want to know.

They're saying she suffered a seizure, (excuses coming already), but after the crash, she reversed and appeared to be trying to flee.

    Na,

I pass through that intersection nearly every second day and the shrine is completely open to an incident like this.

The only thing that surprises me is how easily the Barriers give way, the bint drove straight through them, they did not even slow her down.

Given the recent bombing of the shrine one would think they would of thought things through and placed Barriers there that would stop a tank.

    But this is Thailand huh.

I recon now they will put in place something decent to stop cars getting through.

Accident waiting to happen simply because it's wide open to cars coming from multiple directions.

Just watched it again...I'm sure she tried to flee but one guy ran and hit the car with his hand and appeared to be trying to stop her. He then ran to her door. That may have been enough for her to give up.

Had I been there, I think I would have run to a safe distance, expecting a car bomb to detonate next.

Do ya remember the crazy Thai guy that attacked the shrine with a Hammer a few years ago ?

The crowd beat him to Death there and then on the spot.

A 54 year old woman with chronic epilepsy. Why does she have a driving license?

She's someone important is my guess. Not regarding the licence (maybe that too), but by the fact that epilepsy is already being stated by the police.
If it was an epileptic fit, how was she able to put the car into reverse and try to drive away? Does a grand mal seizure act only for the 3 seconds the car was out of control and if so does one come out of it instantly alert enough to think to reverse out and act upon that thought?

I don't know much about epilepsy, so will be interested to be informed, especially on my question about how quickly one recovers enough to try to flee.

My mate had mild epilepsy and would Fit maybe twice a year.

He was on drugs for it and still allowed to drive.

Saying that ontother mate told me he was out riding with him one day.

They had just pulled up and parked their bikes, he then went into one of his fits.

    Farrrrkkkk.

Poor bastard died at 40 of a brain hemorrhage.
