Not so much an impulse I guess, more a necessity. About a week or so ago, I'd read that the serial numbers of older Rolex watches are on the case behind the bracelet at the 6 o'clock position. I'd never checked mine so curiousity got the better of me. Unfortunately, removing the bracelet caused me to break the spring pin (it must have gone into shock, never having moved in more than 30 years). Anyway, ordered what was a ridiculously cheap set of replacement pins from Amazon US, and six days later here they are. Also came with a couple of small tools for pin removal.
