    I'm sure you have.

Some of us have had long-time real experience and exposure with a wide variety of Thais and life situations without the dreamy place we put ourselves in.....

    lol
Hurling abuse doesn't make you right, which you clearly are not.

Must have been real quality social interactions, if all you can see are mugging chickenheads and broads who spread their legs because they're too lazy to do anything else.

In support of tax and even the sausage monger this place is a shithole waiting to expode.

You see it on the streets, at corporate levels even within homes where wifes are warning thier husbands and children where to go and not go.

Corruption and others have been a way of life since Somsak was a boy but things are moving more sinister especially with the drug problem Thailand's youth are faced with.

Do the politicians know or even care about what is really going on.

    Politicians?

As if they could make a difference.
They're the problem, less a fix.

I like this thread, all the more evidence I can garner the better to convince the wife moving to Sothern Europe will be a much better option than a return to Thailand.

I have no idea about your history mate but there are great hard working people here and if you have spent any amount of time in Thailand you can appeciate their efforts.

For me I shared the hard times and bad times with them and have only tried to contribute ideas and real time feelings with them to make everyone's life better.

In the past week I have had 3 mates battered by Thais, 3 mates arrested by the immigration police for being involved in funding the wifes business even though they had nothing to do with the running of that business and I suspect I am the next target fpr posting this shit on an internet forum.

Fuck it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,If they want me they know where they can find me.

my thai inlaws have been warning me for over 20 years about what many thais really feel about foreigners in this country and to take care on the streets after dark.

One fucker I would love to clout but I am a gentleman. I thank the mods sincerely for cleaning my thread which I feel is an important message from me.

Thailand will recover, become an important component within South East Asia but firstly they need to address the social, economic and cultural problems that are seeing the country fall into the abyss.

Fucking off the scum Chinese Thais would be a good step and to giving Thailand back to the Thais.

Mate we go back a long way and you will make the right decision not to bring up your daughter here.

We as fathers to Luk Krung children can never deny their heritage but I hope our children one day can come back here and be proud.

At present the whole place is a bog waiting to boil over.

....There is little Thai/Tai/Siamese - derived from more important and dominate and influential cultures - the make up of real Thai. The promotion today is a modern convenience.

If not for the Chinese and other intrinsic cultures.....there would be no Thai.

I'll still be in the UK best part of another 10 years, daughter only in second year of high school and a lot can change in that time, but attitude to Thailand is been there, done that due to living there for 10 years previously and i'd like to try somewhere different with Spain/Canary Islands being my preferred choice.

We have Chinese families, real ones from China in our out of the way moo baan. They have houses, businesses and get around the visa rules. One I know for a fact gets her 'visa' from the Thai passport office, usually 10k for a year but she knocked them down to 6k this year. Nice people but crafty. Some things here never cease to amaze me.

The real cancer of Thai society is the historied alteration and adaptation of forced upon Farang cultures and ideals.....

You needn't do less than look in the mirror for blame.
I'm sure that you and many others will always continue to avoid the illusions that you've created for yourself....

well said LT, following this thread with interest. having lived in Lao for over 10 years i see a lot of similarities, LAO folk aint that freindly lately also . theres definately a yaba problem and a huge gap in income, thats the way they like it, the whole city is becoming aggressive, people dont follow road rules and if there in an SuV THEY CONSIDER THEY HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY. most of them are newly rich and have no clue how to drive or behave,, a big contrast to 10 years ago, yes the chinese are here in a big way to. but to the Lao,s credit they are not well liked
