KuCoin: I know, crap Chinese site though it does give access to offload oddball coins, forks etc that are otherwise difficult to get rid of. Just a caution for any other poor sod with equity parked there.

Having converted a bunch of accumulated forks/good and crap icos/penny coins into ETH over the past month I made a withdrawal on KuCoin yesterday to zero my account; today still no luck and ended up on a rather tedious chat with 'customer support' requesting a screenshot of my withdrawal application to 'review my situation'; I didn't have a screenshot and never needed one before either on KuCoin or anywhere else after the confirmation email, but she insisted my withdrawal cannot be processed without a screenshot.

Ended up I took shots of our entire conversation, and of my cancelled withdrawal, new withdrawal, confirmation email, confirmation of confirmation email, and then added it was all going onto discord and other crypto sites, which may or may not explain why the new withdrawal was processed and in my wallet within a couple of minutes, though they did charge me for two withdrawals!

If anyone has stuff on there or other monkey sites and wish to zero their account, I suggest leaving a small enough amount behind for your last withdrawal that isn't worth their while to fuss over.

If so thanks, I will look out for similar in future.

Re downward continuation. Yes, it is same, but in reverse. Have not back-tested this. In any case, I do not recommend shorting. But if you are prepared to lose lots of money, please go ahead.

    Nope.

Cash out to the bank and forget about it.

    Short-term play.

The ETH that's in my long-term portfolio is enough for longer term plays.

The 24910 is the limit price he has set at an exchange in x amount of years. 24k will be reached before 30k, so 'whichever comes first' must be 24k. Bit confusing his statement, but in effect, I assume that he would consider taking it to the next level (30k) if it gets to 24k. [Current price = 810 USD]. Still some way to go.

I don't hate the US and Euro people. It's their politicians who are the dickheads.

Was the value of ETH this morning.

    It's price is now 25,200thb.

Will cash out the short-term play if the price drops to 24,000thb and bank the 16k profit, or the price rises to 30,000thb and bank the 46k baht profit. Whichever price comes first. not really bothered either way.

If this keeps up then I’m very close to my own arbitrary sell / pull out (ooh err) point.

Coincidentally enough it will be about the same amount it’ll cost me for new tires/wheels for me new car.

Not sure I understand that, also where your 24910 comes from, and x years. Fwiw my money says ETH will see 30k (+20%) before 24k (-5%). If wrong no big deal, and it will see 30k and > later.

Tangem, a start-up operating from Switzerland and Singapore, has launched a pilot sale of physical notes of Bitcoin (BTC), according to a press release published May 3.Tangem Notes, described in the press release as “smart banknotes” with a chip developed by Samsung Semiconductor, reportedly allow consumers to physically carry Bitcoin stored in denominations of 0.01 (about $96) and 0.05 BTC (about $482). The first pilot batch, consisting of 10,000 notes, will be shipped from Singapore to potential partners and distributors around the world.

    Sold at 24k.

Cash banked and the play forgotten about.

Now just need BTC to go up to 400k to cash out another short-term play that has become decidedly medium-term.
