Why would you buy a new vehicle?

Makes no sense unless you like to burn money. Thoughts?

because you are in thailand and used vehicles hold their value for reasons unknown and are unlikely to just have been driven to church on sundays

more likely to have been loaded with a tonne of yaba and more and been driven like a monkey on LSD

Anyway, in Thailand if buying Thai made, buy new. Cheap finance and hold value well.
In UK no point unless you have money to burn.

Anyone(outside of business or agriculture ) who is buying a new internal combustion vehicle is daft.
A moratorium on the personal motorcar is on the horizon.

Exactly what balders said, buy new because in Thailand and Lao they hold the value and you get a good resell price, unlike the west where they loose half the value the minute you drive them out of the showroom, fuck knows why? But that's how it is, Once saw a fortuner that was 3 years old and had been sitting in the lot un driven with zero kilometers on the clock and they wanted $ 55,000 for it, the latest model was $ 60,000 tax paid, fucking dreaming, cars are more expensive in Lao than Thailand but same deal with resell, never been able to figure it out personally

They don't rust in Thailand, unlike in the UK. Well, a bit, but no so much it's a problem.

Burning money smells nice too. Except in Straya where the notes are plastic.
