Apologies SE ... I haven't read the 40 + pages of this informative thread, so apologies if it's been mentioned before.

I use to travel some distances to exchange @ VASU, the place having been highly recommended.

Two things. Yep, still better then the Banks, was better then the SuperRich Kiosk located in the BTS, but the same price as your average 'walk-in' SuperRich.

Once, I'm fairly sure they ripped me.
I had an odd number of notes, say $875
They gave me the slip and I didn't note it was for exchanging $775
Wasn't till I was back in the Hotel room that I noticed the abnormality.

When back at the Farm, I mentioned it to the squeeze. Whitout telling her which place I went to, she asked if it was the Chinese place near NANA BTS?

She had read on some Thai network that some Thai's had complained on-line about being ripped there.

If I'm in Lower Suk, I'll still use it BUT, I'll check the exchange rate, work out how many Baht I should be receiving,
watch carefully the money being counted (I'll count it out first on the counter ... doesn't take long to lay down say 5 x $100 notes)
then recheck it at the counter.

I might be a little zealous ... but I hate being ripped.

They may raise and nothing happens. They may not, it seems they have history of announcing a rate rise and not delivering. Should be OK with the orange chimp.

Yep. Never know and even if they raise may not have a significant effect on the $. Lots of other factors in play.

The next bump is expected and probably already baked in.

I think if they decline we see the dollar fall further in the shitter though. Seems like choppy waters for USD ahead...
